- To understand the four general principles of the CRC underpinning education
- To strive to implement these four principles in your school context
- Article 2: Education must be provided without discrimination on any grounds.
- Article 3: In all aspects of the education system, consideration of the child’s best interests must be a primary consideration.
- Article 6: Education must seek to promote children’s optimum development.
- Article 12: Children have the right to express their views on all aspects of their education, their views being given due weight in accordance with their age and maturity.
